Dedicated to preserve, collect, research, interpret, and restore historical information, items, buildings of Val Verde, California's famed resort community established for Negros at a time when Black people were barred from many public recreational areas.

Ranging from the "Black Palm Springs" Era to the long spanning traditional events at the park continuing today.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, please join us for our traditional dinner at the Val Verde Park! In addition to the dinner, the Val Verde Civic Association will be giving away gift cards for turkeys & our friends at Parks and Recreation will be hosting a variety of activities for the family!
